Bem Dia!! Well, I´ve arrived at
9:37 this morning!! I was actually scared I was going to miss my flight
because everything was delayed!! All the computers crashed for delta
airlines so my entire schedule was changed! Luckily, I ended up flying on
American Airlines to Dallas then Sao Paulo, and was able to meet lots of cool
people along the way. At 7pm I departed from the airport after taking
pictures with sister Mati (who was working at the airport that day) :) On my
first flight I had an amazing experiance with this hispanic woman and her 4
children who didnt know an ounce of english. /throughout the flight we
spoke on and off about where we were going (I made sure to clarify that I knew
little spanish). I shared my snack on the plane with her kids, talked
about my fear of flying, and smiled...A LOT! Once the plane landed, the
woman begged me to help her find her next flight and even though I had less
than 45 minutes to catch my next flight I grabbed her bags and yelled
"vamanos"! It must have looked weird seeing a white guy in suit
and tie running with pink bags getting chased by a bunch of kids! Within
5 minutes, I found her gate and was hugging and shaking all of their hands
good-bye. Along my way to Sao Paulo, I met a returned missionary named
Justin, a missionary named Elder Mooney, and brother and sister
Anderson!! The flight was sooooo long...especially because I had a
splitting headache the entire way. I remember praying to God to not let
me loose my resolve and that he would strengthen me in my trials because I know
there are plenty more to come! Now I´m at the MTC which is beautiful and
full of brothers and sisters excited to serve! I hope you enjoyed my
letters!! Elder Johnson
